Hello, this is my dad.
An open letter to those who lost their loved ones, specially their dads.
Be positive. There were individuals longing for their dads from the very time they were born. They didn't have the chance to meet and even bond. They didn't have the luxury of time feeling each others warmth. Come to think of those who suffered from that longingness at a very young age, they have suffered it for a very long time and doesn't have the assurance of filling in the emptiness kasi di nila alam if they can see their dads in the future.
Swerte ka kasi sa edad mong yan, naka bond mo pa siya. Sa edad mong yan nadama mo pa ang totoong pagmamahal na hindi man lang naexperience ng iba sa mga ama nila.
I lost my dad at a very young age, 12 turning 13 to be exact. I was in the midst of giving up but despite the problem I'm facing, I stayed to be positive. You can't avoid being sad but you can turn sadness into motivation to move forward. Time has to move on and so as you as an individual of a purpose.
We have to accept things straight and move on. Tho it can be a little achy but time has to do its thing. Let time heal your broken heart, let time mend what's disarranged.
Never give up and be strong. Take it as a challenge. You are once taught by your dad to be a man full of strength, use it now as your key to moving forward. Stay positive for all we know that God wont give us a thing to face without knowing that we can't surpass it.
Head's up, chin up. Wipe your tears and be brave.
